Saima kept her head cool and took the title Winner 2009, she was also best bitch and CACIB. Theo Leenen was judging.

Pictan Brizamea (Don Korleone's Wicked Wizard- Atos ze Stipek) did great in a field on 6th December 2009
She got her second Open Class 2 from Kärkölä, Seppo Eerola was judging.
Mea has now C.I.B, FI CH, LT CH, EST CH (being claimed)
Pictan Captain Morgan ja and Antti Raappana got Open Class 1 in the mid-October, so the door was open to the Winner Class.
November 28th they took the Winner Class water and trace in very arctic conditions, ice and everything. You can say they did quite well: they scored full points.
So what else there is to do but to start the Winner Class test with the 2.5-years-old. And the rest is history.
Winner Class 1 with 91 points!

The application for silver working class breeding award for Pictan Alope (the mother for Pictan C litter) is sent to the German
Shorthaired Pointers Club only three weeks after we sent the application for the bronze.

Fasantorpedens UA Zeta (daughter of Utah and Swedish Fasantorpedens Primus Aya) started in German Derby at the age of 13 months. She did
really fine winning the first prize.

We took Fany to get her hips x-rayed at a local specialist. The result crushed our dreams; left C and right D.
We most certainly didn't see this coming; Fany is very talented and runs like the wind.
Although she will not give us any upbring, she will continue hunting as a dear family member and a friend.
Kennel Pictan was awarded in Oulu with the Shorthaired German Pointers Breeders Award 2008.
It was the C litter (C.I.B, FI CH,EE CH,EEV-08 Pictan Alope & C.I.B, FI CH,SE CH Alkärrets Faro) that brought us this valued recognition.
There are 10 dogs of which 8 has been awarded in field tests and in shows.
The base has been very good, the dogs have been healthy, good natured and eager to work, not to mention their looks. Besides this we have
been very fortunate to get very active owners for these fine dogs.
Since 1971 has this artwork been decorating different kennels. For the next year it will be the center piece in our living room. Just looking
at it brings so much memories.

Two of Pictan C-litter took a successful tour in Lithuania.
On Saturday Pictan Cassius was nominated Lithuanian Winner, CAC and CACIB,
and Pictan Castanet CAC.

Sunday and Vilnius Cup was another success story for Pictan Cassius:
Best in Breed, CAC and CACIB.
Pictan Castanet achieved Excellent here.
